Meatless Monday, to coin a phrase, has both health as well as environmental benefits, and while there are varying schools of thought about meat, going without it, at least one day a week, gives the digestive system a breather.
The health of our GI tract is fundamental to our overall wellbeing. When this system ceases to work properly, our physical condition becomes compromised leading to systemic inflammation and eventually dis-ease.
